Highlights:

• We are a small firm. We do not have a sales force or other overhead to maintain. When you call, ask to talk to our president, Don Schaefer, who is also our lead engineer. He will be the lead engineer on your project also.
• We are an experienced firm. Don has been designing electronic products for over 25 years and is a Professional Engineer (PE) registered in Missouri. We have been in business as Design Renew Electronics and, before that, Schaefer & Associates Engineering, for nearly 10 years.
• We have the needed expertise. We have two other full-time engineers, one with over 20 years in DSP and embedded software design. When the job requires a specific area of expertise that we don't have in-house, we contract with an outside expert.
• We get the job done. On some of our past projects, we were not the first engineering firm to be used, but we were the ones who finished the job.
• We get it done fast. Depending on complexity, we can turn a circuit board design in as little as two to four weeks from concept to a prototype in hand--even one containing fine pitched SMD parts.
